If this author used a hint of critical thinking that she was supposed to learn in college, she would see that Bachelor's degrees vary widely in pay, and that most women don't go into STEM, by their own choice, which pays more than most bachelors. Frankly most females seem to prefer nursing, teaching etc, because that is the norm, not because people are forcing them to or preventing them from being doctors, lawyers, scientists, etc (on the contrary they are heavily PUSHED and given free rides through affirmative action).
